The lime tree is a large, lush green tree that produces small, yellow, highly scented flowers. The plant attracts dozens and dozens of insects, primarily bees, which produce excellent honey with a distinctive flavour. Lime blossom has a sweet, sugary scent and releases a honeyed, slightly herbaceous flavour.
