
The Hibiscus flower, also known as Karkadè, is a floral variety with an intense acrid and tannic flavour. It is also widely used in the preparation of herbal teas with an energising effect. When infused in gin or vodka it releases a bright pink colour and a pleasantly acidic flavour.
