Bembo has created a line of Botanicals for Gin Tonic suitable for the most demanding enthusiasts who wish to surprise their guests with unusual combinations.

Inside the box, the nine citrus botanicals can be combined as desired to flavour your Gin Tonic:
  • Sliced Bergamot (12 g)
  • Sliced Orange (18 g)
  • Sliced Lime (12 g)
  • Grapefruit Peel ( 8 g)
  • Sliced lemon (12 g)
  • Sweet Orange Peel (10 g)
  • Lime Peel (8 g)
  • Lemon Peel (10 g)
  • Bergamot Peel (8 g)


Modes of Use:
1) Choose your favourite gin and see which botanicals make it up;
2) Select the ones you want to enhance;
3) Crush your chosen botanicals using, for example, a marble mortar;
4) Pour the crushed botanicals into a glass;
5) Add the selected Gin;
6) Wait 15 to 20 minutes;
7) Strain the contents into a Cocktail glass, in which ice is already present;
8) Add the appropriate tonic water;
9) Garnish with choreographic elements that recall the flavours and aromas of the cocktail.



Here are some valuable tips:
To correctly dose the spices and aromas to be added to a gin and tonic you need to practice and experiment. Indeed, the balance of flavours can only be achieved after trying different techniques and mastering the exact doses.
Alcohol accentuates the scent and flavour of spices and it is wise to master the handling of these aromas. The spice tends to cover the other flavours and it is prudent to start with small doses.
Equip yourself with the right tools to crush them (a Bembo marble mortar with a bowl is ideal) and attach great importance to maceration, the moment when all the flavour is released.
