
Mustard is a plant cultivated throughout Europe although the country with the greatest consumption is Germany. It is used in canning to prepare the well-known mustard, especially in France, England and Germany, and it enters the composition of local mustards, usually in essence form. However, it is also recommended for the preparation of sauces to go with white meats directly during cooking.
